  5. Communion of St Jerome. Dolci was the
  6. foremost painter in Florence in his time and
  7. continued to be much admired in the 18th
  8. century. He was also a portraitist, and was
  9. sent to Austria in 1675 to paint the Medici
  10. wife of the emperor Leopold I.
